You'd think she was giving something away free

Well, I guess I am.

I know you guys looooooooooooove these pearls. Almost as much as I do! I want to share the wealth, so I'm giving a set away to one of you all! I lied to the sales associate because I was already wearing my set and told her I was giving them to a "friend" for her "birthday". So replace "friend" with "follower" and "birthday" with "giveaway" and you've got it all going on.

My only (mild) complaint about this necklace is the clasp--it's a bit difficult to do behind the neck. I highly recommend this necklace otherwise; it's versatile, fairly lightweight and if my experience with it has been any indication you'll get a boatload of compliments on them!

Here's how you get your chance:

a) Leave a comment on this post telling me what you would wear these pearls with. (I may or may not use your ideas in the future.)

b) Keep your fingers firmly crossed until Friday, April 22nd! I'll announce the winner then.

Make sure when you leave your comment that your email address is listed in your profile or that you leave it in the comment. If it isn't, and you win, I'll have to pick someone else because I'll have no way to contact you!

In the interest of full disclosure: I am in no way affiliated with JCPenney (aside from being a Big Fan). This necklace was furnished by me alone. Justin Bieber painting not included.

Good luck, y'all!

  1. Oh, fun! Those are so pretty. I bet they'd be cute dressing up an otherwise plain t-shirt ... or with a white dress shirt and pencil skirt!

  3. Hmmm...I may be too late, but I thought I'd give it a whack anyhow.
I would use pearls to dress up... a floral button up shirt or small plaid (not flannel) button shirt with faded comfy jeans or a plain long khaki skirt. Jeans with dressier sandals like wedges w/ some bling and khaki skirt with comfy flats. Both would be good with pearls. Both also with hair up in a bun / chignon.

  4. I have a full midi-length mini-length houndstooth skirt that I wear with spectator pumps and this mock turtleneck sweater. I think the pearls would look awe-some with that. Also I have this new dress I got over the weekend that has a 50s nautical flair too it. The pearls would look so pretty against the navy blue stripe.

  5. I love those! I would wear them with a gray sweater dress that I have or with a black knit skirt and a dark pink button up shirt and black peep toe pumps. But really I think you could pair them with anything!

  6. Clearly, I want you to wear them with nothing but your skivvies.
