One of my favourite things to do is drive. I could (and have) drive for hours and hours and days and days. These days, my half hour drive to and from work is sometimes the only calm I have all day. Once in a while I take the long way home, through tiny towns with one traffic light. It's a literal relaxation tank, my car. Its light green paint, its soft seats, its smooth acceleration. My one hour in the car--with the windows down and the music loud or the windows shut with complete silence--is my time. And I love it.

I'm not too proud to admit that I practically never watch movies. There's just way more tv to watch. In the last year I've seen Monte Carlo, 50/50 and Attack the Block in theatres. And the last two were on the same night. I do often feel like I'm missing out on some epic film (think Blue Valentine, not The Immortals) but it usually passes pretty fast.



And I know I'm really late to this show, you guys. BUT. I just got Bridesmaids from work (I was 63rd in line!) and I'm totally gonna watch it at some point in the fairly near future. Because I keep hearing all this whatnot about Melissa McCarthy and it just keeps COMING and now I feel really left out of the loop. Read me in, guys! Someone read me in!
