Duodecim
Cardigan: parts unknown
Top: TJMaxx
Belt: Target
Pants: JCPenney
Socks: Walmart
Flats: Target
Between my wrinkly pants and clingy shirt, I'm not sure I look so hot in this outfit. I don't know. I really like the top, and I'm pretty sure I could have gone without socks today, though work was rather cold. I'm glad I had the cardigan!
I have attempted postprocessing on all these pictures. It looks obviously different than my other pictures but I kind of like it. I've gone a bit heavier than necessary but maybe over time I'll learn to tone it better. I think the midday sun I usually take pictures in needs to be toned down sometimes. Something else to fiddle with, I guess. I'm notorious in some internet circles for doing a lot of image editing without Photoshop, and I plan to continue that way. Not that I don't know how to use Photoshop--I learned in a scene design class in college--but I just don't really need it.
Remember, always wear sunblock! It was a beautiful 60 degrees today when I took my lunch break/these pictures, and the sun beamed down on me like nothing else. I burn very easily, so my travel bottle of SPF 50 came out for the first time in 2011. It smelled like summer.
I liked it.
I'll see you all tomorrow!

You look lovely! I NEVER wear sunblock but I definitely should!
ReplyDeleteAwesome kicks. Sometimes I have an ah-ha! moment. When I saw you wear your khakis with your sneakers, I had an ah-ha! moment. Comfortable and classy. I like. :)
ReplyDeleteLula, thank you! And yes, SPF is superimportant! Though admittedly I like to wear it because of the smell.
ReplyDeleteMeghan--thanks! I'm sometimes willing to wear some uncomfortable things for the sake of the pretty but when it comes to feet, it's all about comfort first. This is the second pair of those shoes I've owned; I wore the first pair clean through the canvas and then bought these on eBay. This pair is starting to fall apart but they fit my feet perfectly so I can't let go yet!
