If I'm willing to see a musician twice in one year, you know I am a fan. Kesha: I'm a fan. I have so much fun at Kesha concerts, partly for the music, but also party for the people watching, which is beyond prime. No rain, no cold, just lots of fun, lots of crazy people, and a shitton of glitter. You should see the inside of my car, and the asphalt where I parked when I returned home. There is a fine coat of glitter on almost everything in my living space, and I'm all right with that.

Next year: the pit.

You met four of your best friends downtown with your mom's SUV. You drove three hours. You stopped for dinner and fought Atlanta traffic. You listened to shitty music. You parked and liberally applied glitter. You took outfit photos of everyone but yourself. You ran to the lawn. You got there just as Kesha was starting. You jammed. You bought beer. You covered yourselves in more glitter. You got soaking wet during something that made torrential downpour sound lighthearted. You stuffed yourselves under the overhang at the amphitheatre. You danced to Pitbull so hard that you probably strained your MCL. You loved the world and everything in it.

And then you got back to your car and found out those bitches in the Jeep next to you had sideswiped your mom's SUV and you would never hear the end of it.

Three weeks later, you're still finding glitter in your bed, your car, and your hair.
You're happy with that.

I automatically went to tag this post 30 for 30. OOPS. One thing I didn't miss about regular outfits was coming up with blog post titles.

I'm a pretty big fan of this outfit. I'm really used to my bottom half being darker than my upper half for whatever reason--when I was young I once wore khaki pants and a white shirt because I thought wearing a dark top with a light bottom was a faux pas--so these very light gray pants were a step outside my comfort zone. I REALLY like them though, they're a light fabric and very comfortable, great for spring.



And obviously it is spring here in Cardiganland so I had to go back to yesterday's location for more pictures! Took them myself this time though, and I really like how they turned out. I think I'm getting better at this whole posing thing (see the first two months of this blog for reminders of how far I've come) and I can't wait for my tripod because perching my poor camera on the edge of a fountain can't be the wisest/safest option.

Speaking of my poor camera, I'm taking it to the photo center tomorrow in hopes the guys there can fix it. Keep your fingers crossed for my baby!

Tonight C. is wearing a black and white animal print sweater paired with tailored black trousers both by Multiples purchased at Dillards. Watch and earrings by Guess. Her bracelet is a handcrafted gift from her daughter. Her shoes are black patent leather low wedges by Nine West, which she snagged for a deal at TJ Maxx. Notice the cohesion of the repeating circle design on both the earrings and shoes (see below) which pulls everything together.

I have to say I'm impressed by the amount of support my coworkers have shown me in starting this blog! (Hi everyone!) C. was so excited that she wrote her own post, and today at our shared desk computer I found that someone had typed the address to my blog into the address bar. Goodness.

This dress is really important to me--my mom made it for my college graduation ball, and she put an incredible amount of work into it. It is beautiful and I only wore it twice in college before it was relegated to a garment bag in my closet. I broke it out for the holiday party but was obliged to put a cardigan on because my chest area was a bit overwhelming! It was not like that two years ago!

Our shoes, as C. mentioned, were pretty awesome. They added cohesion for both of us, and we were comfortable and classy in our flats!
